Re: Crosstown Shootout Tonight
I just got invited to start celebrating the UC win in 15 minutes. Wondering if I should go or wait a couple of hours.

I'm almost afraid to say this, but what the heck.
I wore Xavier blue today. On purpose. |

Re: Crosstown Shootout Tonight
I'm a Xavier season ticket holder and have watched the team all year long, so I pretty much knew how this one was going to go. Given that we had only one true post player healthy (Caudle), Hicks and Maxiell dominated inside (which I expected), and that was really the story of the game. X is a young team and historically young teams don't fare too well in the Shootout. Great game by UC. It'll be interesting to see how they do in the postseason this year-- they certainly have the frontcourt to make a big run.
As for X, I just hope they use this as a learning experience for next year. It's looking like no postseason this year at all. At least the XU women beat UC by 35 back in December, so it's not a total loss this year.
