I don't wish to imply that this is WHY guernsey is MIA, but I recall that he and M2 placed a bet about the 2005 season.

The last time I asked M2 about it, to M2's knowledge, Guernsey never made the charitable contribution required for losing this bet. [edit] to clarify, Guernsey may well have made this charitable contribution, but he never informed M2 that he did (at least the last time I saw M2 this spring)
