Now, why'd you have to go and bring up Dante Bichette?

Or Jimmy Anderson?

Is that really what we want the discourse to be here in the minors? Why can't we talk more about Rich Aurilia? Or Joe Randa?

Kudos. And kudos again.

I always enjoy a Motorboat Jones reference.

It's kind of nice.

Don't make to much of the minor major league posting stuff. Just talk baseball.
Kissing butt turns you on heh?

Re: Question for Mods of the redzone site

My thing is I have been a member for a long time. So now I am considered a minor league guy? I am not sure about all of this. I am totally confused.

Re: Question for Mods of the redzone site

How is it decided how my points are determined on what I post?

Re: Question for Mods of the redzone site

What about the us guys who may not make it to the show. What I want to know is are the FO going to go out draft the kind of staff we need to make it into the show. The odd Homer Bailey makes it in here but after a while they may just turn into a Damien Moss or Luke Prokpec.

People who were original members (registered in 2000) and subscribers were started out with 200 points and rights to post on the CRT forum.

Unfortunately there are a few contributors that have been here for quite some time that did not meet those initial criteria. There had to be a cut off line somewhere and the original members and subscribers were chosen to be the initial batch.

Quality posts and an overall positive contribution to the conversation will eventually get you there. It really doesn't matter which side of the conversation one finds themselves. What matters is the consideration used in developing one's point and the way that point is expressed (effective use of facts as a foundation for an opinion for example).

People with rights to post in CRT are, essentially, free to grade posts however they choose. They are limited to 5 grades per 24 hour (rolling) period. They can not rate the same person again until they have rated 15 other people.

I have some consternation that this will make it tough on some of the lurkers to ever get CRTized, but of all the options we saw to improve the overall quality of the site, I think this one is the most equitible.

**edit the value of the grades a CRT enabled person give differs from person to person depending on their rating.
