"I had a talk with Danny, and he feels very bad about what happened during yesterday's game, and sends his deepest apologies to the fans of Cincinnati. He recognizes that Cincinnati fans are among the best in baseball, and he understands their frustration with the current situation. We're looking to start over with a clean slate and get back on the winning track. Danny Graves is, and will continue to be, an important part of this franchise."

Perhaps not verbatim, but it's going to be darn close...

so that mens Danny Graves is signing an extension, right??

Actually I too trust Ryan and have changed my opinion from nothing will happen to lets wait and see.

If it does happen, its a start...

Interesting Miley doing the presser - pretty much tells you no managerial move coming anytime soon.

That's true, technically he never said who it was because he wasn't sure. All he was sure of was that the Reds were going to sign a starting pitcher.

I'm curious to see if the FO uses this as a way to divert the fan's attention from the team's play, thereby allowing them to not have to begin the housecleaning.
