Mmmmm... Casey's .406 Slg in the 4-hole sure looks good. Not that I think Randa is an ideal cleanup hitter, but his OPS is over 100 points higher than Casey's. At least Dunn is hitting 2nd, though.

Narron puts together lineups like he's trying to solve a Rubick's cube.
He gets all the colors to align on one side of the puzzle, but then has them screwed up on another.

I would suggest that Casey can probably hit a tough pitcher like Clemens better than most of our hitters. Both Griffey and Casey can hit good pitcher's pitches better than most of the other Reds.
And with the Astros having no lefty in the pen, we don't have to be worried about stacking our lefties. Even though RH hitters seem to fare better against Clemens than LH hitters. |

According to ESPN:
Randa vs Clemens (I assume for his career) 38 AB 11 hits 1 3B 3 HR 1 BB 10 K .289/.300/.579/.879 Casey's OPS is .552 against Clemens, although thats in only 14 abs. |

I'd imagine Narron is loading up on the lefties due to the fact that the Astros now have no lefthanders in their bullpen after DFA'ing John Franco.
