Need to replace Pennington

I have Hasselbeck but need to replace Pennington.

Advice please? Decent, but still available are: Dilfer, Plummer, Frerotte.
Also, Griese and Brunell.

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Of that group, probably Plummer...

When Hasselback hits his bye-week, you still want to base who you play based on matchup, though. None of those guys are stellar.

Re: Need to replace Pennington

I'd go with Frerotte, he's put up a decent number of fantasy points so far this year. Wouldn't be bad for a one week start.

Re: Need to replace Pennington

I have Plummer on my team and haven't been disappointed - yet.

Frerotte is a vet of 6 different NFL teams. He's never been a viable option. I'd go Plummer /Griese at this point.

Re: Need to replace Pennington

I forgot one that's also available... Eli Manning. And T. Rattay (SF); I didn't list him because I've never heard of him but he appears to be doing really well.

And thanks for the advice... keep it coming.

Might take a flyer on Manning, too. Looks good so far and has some weapons.

Re: Need to replace Pennington

I'd go with Manning. Giants D sucks. Offense is going to be behind alot, will throw alot, has Shockey, Burress, Toomer and Tiki. If he has half a brain and doesn't "Leaf" it, should be solid, not spectacular for Hasselbeck's bye week.

Manning, then Plummer, then either Griese or Frerotte.

Definitely got to go with Plummer. Although, if the matchup is right Griese might be a good option as well.
