Furthermore, I think they should toss all automatic qualifiers for the BCS, I think teams should get a point bump for winning their conference but if they want to continue with this system instead of a playoff, they should toss auto qualifying and just take the best 8 teams for the 4 bowl games, be it 4 teams from one and none of a few others or vice versa.
IMO, of course the conferences would never agree to that.
