Figured this deserved its own thread instead of diving through the other one.

We are currently in the process of starting a new Cincinnati Bengals message board in the same mold as Redszone. If you are a Bengals fan, or a fan of any other NFL team looking to talk intelligent, non-smack football, then give us a shot. Ochre(creator of the Peanut Gallery) is the one running it and I have no doubt this will be a success.

That would be ultimately up to GIK and Boss, but given the bandwidth problems, that could turn out to be a major problem.

Yes, we could do that, but I don't think we're looking to add another major forum to the site. Even as an equally big Bengals fan, I'd prefer to keep this site primarily focused on what it does best: cover Reds' baseball.

Plus, the people like GAC, Boyds, myself, et. al. who cheer for a 5-9 team who also has been in the playoffs once in this millenium, can still participate to our highest Reds level

That's pretty much how I've been operating. I had been considering doing a bengals forum anyway. When you said it sounded good to you I figured we could be loosely affiliated, but there's no reason it has to be excessively close, or distant. I want the same kind of feel as here and plan on working toward that.
