Re: National Championship thread - USC / Texas

I don't know if he'll be the best pro, but Vince Young looks like the best college football player on the field tonight.

Re: National Championship thread - USC / Texas

This has been one ugly NC game. Texas has fumbled three times, USC has blown 3 easy scoring chances with bonehead calls or plays. Texas is lucky or else this would a blowout.

We'll see how USC adjusts in the second half. My gut feeling is Texas hangs on and wins by 10.

USC is more fundamentally sound than Texas, I can't believe how sloppy Texas has been with the ball. It's like they are playing scared. They better wake up out of their fog or USC will burry them.

USC band plays "Beat It" and makes a Michael Jackson move by grabbing their crotches. :thumbdown

Yeah, he's some talent.

Big start to the 2nd half for USC. Lendale White scores a 4 yard Td to make it 17-16 USC.

Those last two runs just made your case even better. But, maybe USC was setting them up? :

Texas comes back with an 80 yard drive. Vince Young scores on a 14 yard run. 23-17 Texas.

Texas comes storming back as the USC defense were on their heels the whole drive.

The Texas cheerleaders wearing the chaps don't look so bad either.
