not really.

Percentage wise the Reds are closer with Dunn than with Lopez

Prediction:

Split the difference with Dunn, fight Lopez and "win."

Sadly, they may "win" with both.

In the end, they lose, and so will us fans.

Re: Per Marc Lancaster: Reds and Dunn far apart

It looks as if the Astros are in the same kind of spot with Morgan Ensberg. This is from Wednesday's Houston Chronicle:

Quote:
All-Star third baseman Morgan Ensberg is the Astros' only arbitration-eligible player to file at the 11 a.m. deadline. Ensberg seeks $4.2 million, $800,000 more than the Astros' figure. Unless a deal can be reached with Ensberg, who earned a base salary of $450,000 last season, the sides will head to an arbitration hearing next month.
