I know this year is on all of our minds, but with all the talk of the future with the new ownership, could it be possible that the Reds might not have moved on a free agent this year with the hopes of signing a big one next year??? If Dunn is signed LT and the Reds have a more respectable season this year could they possibly attract one of next years big names?? Probably just wishful thinking....

Greg Maddux will likely retire, Andy Pettite likely will not leave Houston.
I would say that the two Jason's are a possibility. However, I will add that instead of having a Tom Browning or a Mario Soto as pitching coaches, I would love to see Maddux one day become a Reds pitching coach. |
