Lopez Jr. Dunn Pena Kearns Encarnacion LaRue That's what I expect to see at this point.

Re: who's the best 9?
Womack 2b
Lopez ss Griffey cf Pena lf Dunn 1b Kearns rf Encarnacion 3b LaRue c Mostly the same as above. However, my belief is that since Narron keeps talking about Freel playing all over the field, Womack is going to end up starting at 2b with Freel filling in all over the place and getting plenty of PT. I thought that putting Pena in between Dunn and Griffey might be a good idea to split up the left handers. Depending on how they are going, Kearns could be put in the clean up spot also. |

Re: who's the best 9?
What I want to see:
2B Freel SS Lopez CF Griffey 1B Dunn RF Kearns LF Pena 3B Encarnacion C Valentin/LaRue (yes, in a platoon) What we'll probably see for the majority of the season: 2B Womack SS Lopez CF Griffey LF Dunn RF Kearns 3B Aurillia 1B Hatteberg C LaRue |
