Scott Williamson Anybody?

Cubbies have him on the block and he might be the answer to the closer role for the Reds. Worst case scenario the Reds move him at the trading deadline in July and hopefully Coffey will be ready to step in.

Worth inquiring?

Can we time travel the 1999 version out to 2006?

Probably not -- the Reds don't have anyone who can hit 88 MPH on the gun.

Re: Scott Williamson Anybody?

If Todd Wellemeyer pitches well, Williamson will be shopped. So far, Wellemeyer has pitched poorly.

for about 2 months until he blows his arm out. I would be far more interested in Wuertz.
