Reds since getting Griffey back: 1-4
This is real, I completely believe that Griffey does something to the team to bring them down. The Reds have experienced this same EXACT thing in years past when Griffey is in/out (like usual).
There is something that happens when Griffey is playing that makes the Reds worse. What it is though - not sure. Maybe the players don't think they have to try as hard? (Stupid, but possible)....Maybe he is too self confident, brings the team down? It's gotta be something.

That's crazy. We'd be 0-5 if it wasn't for Griffey. This team is in a big time slump.
Remember Phil is like 14 of last 15. They are on fire and have some of the best pitching in the NL

No way this team can compete deep into the summer, with or without Junior. I'm ALL for trading Ken, but not because I think he somehow "brings the team down." |
