I think he'll regret this decision. The team isn't much better at all, and last year they were pretty crappy. The other teams in the division have all improved; some more than others.

I think Brett will get smacked around pretty good this year considering who he's got protecting his back.

The gunslinger returns.........

Re: Anyone else getting tired of this Bret Farve saga?

I'm eagerly awaiting the whine fest that will ensue once Javon Walker is dealt away and Favre loses his best weapon. If he complained about the Packers not being active this offseason in free agency you can bet he's going to throw one of his little hissy-fits when his buddy Javon gets shipped out, maybe as soon as this weekend.

Oh, and I like the timing of this announcement. The national sports media hadn't talked about him much in the last week and were all gearing up for the draft and then he goes and makes his little announcement. Funny how that spotlight had been shining elsewhere.

he has definitely mastered the art of media manipulation. I personally feel that he should ride off into the sunset but I am sure that will be at least 10 or 12 press conferences from now. I imagine the NFC central is getting excited already just dreaming of 5 INT days saying that Brett hasn't sniffed an important game in a few years.

Just think, we'll have to go through this whole thing again next year. :thumbdown
