Re: 4/6/6 Game Thread vs Pirates (Welcome Home Casey)

Sorry to pull after 2 games but ill pull aurila's too

1.00 in the field this year.

All im saying is Aurila will do nothing but HELP us when he's in the lineup. More protection for our other big hitters. And lets not forget he's helped us get runs in this season... not many can say that yet.

He produces when he plays thats what matters. Aurila Bashing with no base of facts is kinda getting old. He's doin no worse or no better then any other player right now.

Consider the fact he was a SS until his injury last season.. now he's primaraly 3B 2B and some 1B He's out of his eliment right now too.. Cut the dude some slack and wish him the best today in a game we can win.

BTW This part of the season EVERYONES in the Race

the Reds ain't winning the division. besides, over the entire year Edwin is a shoo in to produce at least as well as RA.

I don't have a problem with sitting him from time to time though. especially when he's pressing as he obviously is right now.

What it comes down to is Edwin has a bright future. I'm hoping he's not a bust like Larson who killed competition in triple A as well. I've got a good vibe about Edwin but I dont think the first half of this season possibly all of this season will be his time. The guy is young hes got plenty of playing ahead of him. Lets play the best bats right now...

You have to be kidding. This team has zero chance at the playoffs. I am not trying to be mean so dont take this the wrong way, this is nothing personal. I just dont understand what your saying. How the heck is Edwin supposed to develop if he doesnt play. Also if you really think this team can go somewhere by playing Rich then how can you not criticize Narron for playing Womack. The only way Edwin will get real solid on offense and defense is to play........everyday.

Re: 4/6/6 Game Thread vs Pirates (Welcome Home Casey)

zero chance at the playoffs???

Man..... glad to see that the fans are behind the TEAM.

Anything can happen ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the runs we put up, it wont take much of an improvment from our Pitchers to get us many more wins than we got last season.

Gawd......Giving up before it begins........

FAITH!!

Go REDS!!!!!!!!

Re: 4/6/6 Game Thread vs Pirates (Welcome Home Casey)

Big difference between faith and reality. This team should be building for the future and playing young guys like Edwin who could help this team in 2007 and later. I'm not saying I dont want them to win, but it would take a HUGE IMPROVEMENT from this pitching staff to win anything.
