Reds farmhands given 50 game suspensions
Don't know much detail, but Marty just reported on the game broadcast that Red's minor leaguers Ramon Ramirez and Justin Mallett have each received 50 game suspensions. Ramirez supposedly for performance enhancing drugs and Mallett for Drugs of abuse.
 Ramirez is a pitcher on the Sarasota roster. Mallett is a pitcher at Chattanooga. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/p...=.jsp&c_id=mlb

Right-handers Justin Mallett and Ramon Ramirez have been suspended 50 games each after violating MLB's minor league drug policy. Ramirez tested positive for a "performance enhancing substance," while Mallett tested positive for a "drug of abuse."
