They just either put JR on DL or for once in their entire lives be frank with the fans about what is really going on. I'm so incredibly sick of this little dance the Reds go through every single time this happens - which has apparently survived a change in regime.

Good to see Kearns batting cleanup, and I never thought I'd say this, esp. last year, but I'd much rather see Rich in there instead of Hatteberg, but I guess I'm just getting greedy now, eh?

![]() Kearns has 12 K's this season tied for 2nd on the Reds with Lopez.. and 6 behind dunn at 18. Of those 12 K's, 10 were facing RHP's
