Mega-Millions winner bought at Kroger store THE ENQUIRER CORRYVILLE -- A local person presumably has the one and only winning ticket for the $265 million Mega Millions drawing Tuesday night. The winning ticket was sold at the Kroger supermarket in Corryville, an Ohio Lottery spokeswoman said. The store at 1 West Corry is a block away from the University of Cincinnati campus. No one has claimed the prize so far. A store employee said he didn't know who sold the winning ticket. The winning numbers in the 12-state game were 13, 14, 25, 34 and 50. The Mega Ball was 6. The winner can take a cash option of approximately $148.9 million or 26 annual payments of approximately $10.1 million, according to www.megamillions.com. It was the first grand prize winner sold in Cincinnati and the fifth winning Mega Millions ticket purchased in Ohio since June, lottery spokeswoman Mardele Cohen said. Two other tickets purchased in Ohio matched all five numbers but not the Mega Ball for prizes of $250,000 each. Four Ohio tickets matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball for third prizes of $10,000 each. The last Mega Millions winner from Ohio claimed a $270 million prize – the biggest lottery jackpot won in the state – by forming an anonymous trust. The winning ticket from the Feb. 28 drawing was sold in Lyons, a farming village of about 600 people 30 miles west of Toledo. |
