MLB.TV question

I just signed up a few days ago. I noticed that they said last week that MLB Mosaic where you can watch 6 games at once will be available this week. Anyone know how to use this feature or if it is even available as of yet?

Thanks

So far I've only gotten 4 games to run at once, but only 2 of them really watchable. They all lag horribly. I contacted their 866 number last night to find out what might be the trouble, and when asked what kind of computer I had, I told them about my Sony Vaio Laptop in which the customer service rep said "That's plenty of machine" and then followed it up with "must be something on our end" and "to check back next week if it's still not working". Solid answers from MLB.TV if you ask me.

The how to use is simple. There's 2 ways you can do it. You can either drag and drop the little yellow tv icons into the mosiac player (MLB.TV's version of WMP10, Windows Media Player 10, not Wily Mo Pena, although surprisingly, maybe with the same initials that's why it doesn't work), or you can click each little yellow tv icon and it'll ask you if you want it to be added to the mosiac.

If you get it to work, lemme know, although right now I'm more than contempt at watching the Reds get shelled by a AAA team from Florida.

Re: MLB.TV question

Apparently they've changed it from last night.

Last night when I watched, the tabs at the top of the player said featured, today, on demand, my team

when you click in the featured tab, that's where the mosiac stuff was, and then you could either drag and drop the little icons, or you could select from a pre existing 6 game set

Tonight, the tabs say related, today, on demand, my team.

I use IE, and I had to go into the FAQ section to actually get mine to play at all. I had to click on the game screen, then right click and go down to options. Once in options, I had to go to the network tab. In there, I had to deselect multicast, udp, and then i had to go down to streaming proxy settings and make sure that http, mms, and rtsp all had "none" for the proxy settings. This was configured by selecting the protocol, and then clicking on that configure button.

My guess would be that MLB.TV is still working out the bugs. My call to them last night was to inquire why I was unable to watch the Reds, and why the mosaic wasn't working.

Hopefully this helps. If not, you might get to dial 1-866-800-1275 and see what they can do for you, but be ready to know all kind of useless/useful information about your computer, operating system, etc.
