The pre-2006 Tyler Walker, while not great, would be better than some of the guys we have. But the 2006 version of Walker has been every bit as bad. Your guess is as good as mine as to whether he's any more likely to turn it around.

Ray Durham is decaying rapidly, Bonds is a once every other day player, how about Freel and Kearns to SF for Matt Cain? The Giants will cough up prospects with some small amount of prodding, at least they have done so in the past...
