What do you think of this trade I made?
7X7 Yahoo Points league. I'm in 6th place but in these catagories I'm last; Wins, 2B, RBI and Runs. I have 5 closers (Isring., Gordon, Street, Reitsma, Baez),a bunch of outfielder (Kearns, Crawford, B.Giles, Swisher, Carlos Lee) and with the exception of Carpenter I have some lack luster starters (Livan, Burnett, Millwood and Schmidt). I just lost D. Lee @ 1B, but I still have Konerko.
I just traded: Isringhausen Livan Hernandez B.Giles I got: Mulder Bonds Sexson What do you guys think? |

That's a good trade, even better if Barry can play 2 out of every 3 games. If Bonds stays healthy, he'll offset the loss in OB% and BB you took in dealing Giles away, if you count those stats. Otherwise, Mulder should definately give you more wins than Livan, and you didn't really need Izzy. Sexson has been struggling so far this year, but he'll come around.

I think you got the best end of the deal. If Bonds plays most days, you'll easily have the better end. Sexson isn't going to hit above .260, but he'll get you 35 HRs and 90+ RBIs.
You had a surplus in closers, and Isringhausen hasn't seemed quite right this season and you got an upgrade at SP as well. Good deal for you.

Thanks guy! This league only allows 3 trades the whole year. I didn't want to waste one of them. I feel a little better now.
