Interesting point by Astros commetators: Adam Dunn probably does the least amount of running of anyone in the game if you consider the HRs, strikeouts, and walks.

Re: 4/30/06 - Reds vs. Astros Game Thread

37 atbats without a home run for Dunn. That was about the worst first inning you could ask for.

After 1, 2-0 Astros.

Ramirez-36 pitches
Buchholz-7 pitches

False. Adam Dunn gets on base near a .400 clip, the more you are on base...the more running you will do.

Well if you mix in his casual approach to fielding they may be right

Re: 4/30/06 - Reds vs. Astros Game Thread

Couple Ramirez's lack of an out pitch with my pick of this year's ROY (electric stuff on this kid Buchholz--as good as any A's prospect not named Harden--have I ever mentioned how stupid a franchise Philadelphia is?)--and this day is going to be LOOOOOONG.

The Lizard needs to shoot for 6 IP's today. He settled down nicely, but meat of order is coming back up.

EE chases a ball and flies out on the second pitch. What the hell are they doing? The offense is at its best when they are taking pitches, working the count. It looks like they just want to get this game over.

Nah. Buchholz's stuff is that good--and they've never seen him before.

That a boy Kearns, just get us some confidence here. We could use a dose of Phillips right about now...
