Furcal or Lopez ??

Here is my question....

My infield is this:

giambi
brandon phillips
michael young
A-Rod

I also have cantu (2b & 3b) as well as furcal...on monday, the person who drafted felipe lopez dropped him to pick up Nomar.....SO, would you drop furcal (horrible start, but still hurt) for Lopez?? Who does everyone think will end up with better stats???

Thanks

Re: Furcal or Lopez ??

I'd drop Phillips for Lopez, who has 2B eligibility in most leagues.

Re: Furcal or Lopez ??

Thanks for the replys!

This is a CBS league and Felipe only is eligible for SS and DH...he only played 7 games last year at 2B and has to have 20 to be eligible at a position....I grabbed Cantu figuring that I would have him as an option if Phillips cooled down, but I just dont know what to make of Furcals terrible fantasy play so far.....

Re: Furcal or Lopez ??

Furcal has a reputation, so he'd be easier to trade, even if he doesn't start producing for a while. I think he'll turn it around. However, if you don't want to wait for him to turn it around, you can try to deal him to someone who's looking to "buy low".
