Sucks, had a chance to win and you CHOKED huh? I love it ... avoiding the sweep, this game was important.

Please stop talking that way GOREDS. Seriously, it was one of the closest games the Reds have played all year. Great offense both ways and very poor pitching. The Reds need to cut down on those errors and keep scoring runs if they wanna think about winning the series in Da Nati.

What is the point of this thread? The D-Backs didn't choke, they took 2 of 3 from the Reds...and ran of a 6-1 homestand. The Reds were lucky to come away with a W in this game.

2-3 is acceptable on a road trip ... 1-4 isn't .. excuse me for being excited for avoiding a sweep. Making the best out of a bad situation and cutting your losses is the way teams win pennants. Turning 2-0 series leads into sweeps and avoiding bad ones 0-2 to go 1-2 is the way teams get good ... face it no one is going to be perfect and win every series .. you just gotta cut your losses sometimes.
