Nice to see the club of John Harkes in the states. He is a favorite of mine...I got to meet him when he was finishing up with Columbus Crew, and he signed his book for me. One of the most important players in US history.

Where are they playing? So far all I've found is Rochester, NY. Do you have a schedule? I'm not registered on the Wednesday site.

Wilmington Hammerheads v SWFC Sat 15th July 7.30 ko
Wilmington, North Carolina

USL 1st Division All Stars v SWFC Wed 19th July 8pm ko
Wilmington, North Carolina

Rochester Raging Rhino's v SWFC Sat 22nd July 7.35 ko
Rochester, NY

I saw Jonny Harkes play many many times for the Owls. He was the first American to play at Wembley Stadium in a Cup Final.

He scored one of the clubs most oustanding goals of all time back in 1990 v Derby County. He slammed the ball from around 35 yrd into the top corner beating then England goalkeeper Peter Shilton.

I think Tony Meola also came with Harkes at first but was never offered a contract to play.

At the moment we have Frankie Simek at the club who is from the U.S and I tip him to play for the national side within two years !!!
