If Bonds had never begun juicing, he'd surely have reached 600 HRs. He would be a Hall of Famer and one of the greats. But then, no one's happy being just thane.

I knew it was going to happen, but dang, I hate that he actually tied it...can anyone see bonds as an ambassador to baseball 10 years after retirement and getting any applause/love from the fans?? he wont be getting any from me...:thumbdown

Just to compare...I remember a few years ago when ripken broke the games record, I was happy that he had endured and surpassed the record...but I have the opposite for bonds....

I just hope he hurries up with #715 so we don't have to watch his every move on ESPN for awhile.

Anyone see the game on TV or highlights of it? Was wondering what kind of reaction he got from the fans. Wasn't it played across the bay in Oakland?
