I actually like Dunn in the 2-hole.

With the low amount of patience Griffey has shown this year it makes sense to have Dunn in front of him. Dunn can get on base all day, while Griffey (with good power numbers) can drive him in. It makes more sense than Griffey before Dunn.

Womack's hitting .714???
Let's see if the Lizard can't bring Tony's average down a few hundred points or so today.

That Cubs lineup is brutal. Todd Walker is the only player in the lineup with an OBP above .360...Murton is at .359 and Barrett .353. Jones boasts a robust .321 OBP and the rest of the bunch are below .310.

Here's my question, should Ramirez throw them strikes (as is his wont) or should he be working outside the strikezone today? I know which one I'd choose.

If Adam Dunn played the Cubs everyday, nobody would ever complain about him.

.312, 16HRs, 36 RBIs

Outside the strikezone.

Dunn is really slumping. He just missed a 2-1 fastball belt high and out over the plate. A normal Dunn sends that one 500 feet out of the park.
