Rich Harden back on the DL
Athletics placed RHP Rich Harden on the disabled list, retroactive to June 5, with a sprained elbow ligament.
Harden lasted just one start between injuries, coming off the DL from a back problem on Sunday. The A's don't expect Harden to need an operation, but this kind of thing can lead to Tommy John surgery. It's going to depend on whether he can throw pain-free a couple of weeks from now. Just a heads up for those of you with him on your fantasy teams that were so overly joyous when he returned and pitched well last week, like me.
