What's the plan?

Just got done throwing up.

Seriously, who gets the hook? Hammond? Burns? Who gets the call? The bullpen is disgraceful. Let's brainstorm.

Re: What's the plan?

I'm thinking Weathers stays...if he does have tendonitis, DL him. He was serviceable early on.

Burns is the worst and Hammond isn't good either. I'd like to see Shack come up, only as a LOOGY.

Re: What's the plan?

I think you get rid of the whole lot of them save Coffey and maybe Stanridge [since he's young] and go with a complete youth movement. Guys who have done ok/decent in the minors [the closer at AA, Dumatrait, etc] They don't know they shouldn't succeed, so give em a shot.

You've been listening to Brennaman again, haven't you.

He said the exact things in the 8th inning.

Marty said everyone should go, except Coffey.

Re: What's the plan?

I'd keep Coffey, Standridge and Weathers. Burns goes away forever, bring up Shack. Hammond goes when Belisle is ready. Wayne deals for two legitimate arms. Then they're back in this thing. It's just so annoying thinking where they could be if the BP wasn't this bad.

That was damned funny! I don't know why but that made me laugh out loud! I agree with most here on the bully. Give Mr. Burns and Hammond their pink slips, maybe even Mercker. Get Belisle back, call up Shack and Dumatrait.

Re: What's the plan?

My advice to everyone....even Jerry, and ESPECIALLY those guys in the bullpen not named Coffey...........is to start drinking heavily.

It worked for Bluto Blutowski in Animal House.
