Homer's first AA start

So far so good. Lookouts up 2-0 bottom of the 4th. Homer has 4 K's , no walks and has given up 3 hits.

Can't wait to see him pitch next Tuesday in Huntsville against my pathetic Stars.

Re: Homer's first AA start

Homer Bailey was removed for a pinch hitter after working 6 innings. His stat line was very impressing -- 6innings- 5 hits -0runs -0walks -and 7 strikeouts, he fanned the last batter he faced and was still throwing 93-94 mph in the 6th.

The fact he walked no one in 6 innings was very encouraging. He lead with the Lookouts leading 3-0 .

Do the same in Cincy these days... there is absolutely no guarantee that he would be the winning pitcher. Might be a better option to put your money on a no decision.

Glad to see he did well, he should stay in AA for the rest of the year

Re: Homer's first AA start

Homer can help the Lookouts in the playoffs since they won the first half championship.
