Re: 6/27 Minor League Updates (Edwin playing, Homer pitching)

Billings won 6-1

DeJesus: 5 IP, 2 Hits, 1 Run, 1 BB, 3 K
Watson: 4 IP, 0 Hits, 0 Runs, 0 BB, 5 K
Heisey: 2 for 3 and a walk
Valaika: 2 for 4 with a triple and 2 RBIs
Louwsma: 2 for 5 with a double
Stubbs: 0 for 3 and 2 walks
Parker: 1 for 5 and a RBI

Watson pitched 3.2 innings his last relief appearance and now pitched 4 innings this game. The Reds might be stretching him out to be a starter like some people on here said.

I believe Watson is perfect so far 23 up and 23 down. Nice Start. If the Kid has four pitches why not try him as a starter.

Re: 6/27 Minor League Updates (Edwin playing, Homer pitching)

Great start by Bailey!

And I know Lou. is about final development/fine tuning for players and not necessarily winning games as the #1, but as a Louisville Bats fan it's great to see them improve with their win tonight to 17-3 in their last 20 games! They've gone from 19-29 to 42-35 currently, and took over sole possession of 1st place in the IL West Division for the first time all season.
