Well, I don't like seeing the Cards get better. But, considering they were not very good to begin with, I don't know if this helps them a whole lot. Weaver gave up 35 homers pitching half his games in chavez revine last year. Whatcha think might happen in that new band box St. Louis opened up this year? I'm guessing he gets pummeled.

I'm really not sure this helps STL much, but at this point, there's still not a whole heck of a lot in the marketplace. I'd have to take Weaver over Mays though, would have been an upgrade, though arguably not much of one. Hopefully the Reds start shopping soon or Claussen comes back and remembers how to get people out.
