So what's the deal with Rita Cosby's voice?

I always liked her when she was on Fox News. And her voice wasn't great then but it seems like ever since she switched over to MSNBC her voice has gotten worse. I mean, it seems like she's struggling with every word. It sounds like it would hurt to even speak.

And then last night, I was flipping through channels and I heard her say something like, "Tomorrow will be my last show, I'm moving on to other endeavors like Rita Cosby specials, etc."

So it made me wonder, did MSNBC finally pull the plug because of her voice? I gotta believe they were losing viewers simply due to the fact that people just cannot tolerate her voice. Or is it a physical thing that just won't allow her to do a daily show? Anybody know?

My guess is lots of whiskey and cigarettes. Either that, or she is related this famous East German body builder....

not sure of the reason, but even without the annoying voice, the fact that she's an aweful hostess, might have something to do with it

Re: So what's the deal with Rita Cosby's voice?

Rita sort of grew on me. If you follow her show closely you'll know that she could get an exclusive like nobody's business. She'd have an interview with the family of a victim quicker than anybody.

Her problem, though, was that she stunk at interviewing. She would become star struck, her questions were over the line and she didn't know how to pull it off. If you are going to ask how someone is in the sack, find a way to do it without embarrassing yourself. She did that one night and I had to turn the channel in embarrassment for her.
