8/3 Minor League Updates
Dayton is about to get under way. Zach Ward will be pitching for Beloit against the Dragons.
Sarasota is up 5-1 in the 3rd inning. Chattanooga has the night off. Louisville is up 3-2 in the 4th inning.

Re: 8/3 Minor League Updates
Ward still in low A and easily handling the Dragons so far, though his best start in a few. Why the Twins didn't promote him yet, is well odd.

Re: 8/3 Minor League Updates
When facing a pitcher that was on your team the entire year, who has the most advantage? The pitcher or the hitters. I would think it should be the hitters since they have seen him pitch in all of his starts.

Re: 8/3 Minor League Updates
You have to keep in mind that Zach probably charted pitches or ran the radar when he ws not pitching. Hes probably studied the hitters alot more than they have studued him.

Re: 8/3 Minor League Updates
That's what I was thinking.... Zach is in the stands charting pitches 2 days before he pitches....

Re: 8/3 Minor League Updates
? Are you serious? Lohse would probably throw a perfect game in single A. BIG difference between A and the MLB
