Giants Pick Up Hillenbrand

The Giants bolstered their offense by acquiring two-time All-Star first baseman Shea Hillenbrand from the Toronto Blue Jays. The Giants needed a solid-hitting right-handed batter and first sacker. This year, Hillenbrand was batting .301 with 40 runs, 15 doubles, 12 homers and 39 RBIs, while splitting time between first and third. He is a renowned hitter with runners in scoring position.
