Critical Source of Baseball Info

What do you consider your most critical source of baseball information? If you had to pick one what would it be?

Any medium, print, website, newsletter, magazine, tv or whatever.

Just currious.

As Madge, the Palmolive manicurist used to say, "You're soaking in it right now".

Re: Critical Source of Baseball Info

Back in the day, I used to live and die with USA Today's Baseball Weekly and The Sporting News. I'd read through every box score in TSN and memorize the lineups for playing pickup games in our yard.

The internet has changed all of that for me. I'd say mlb.com, baseball-reference.com, and redszone.com are the primary sources of info for me now.

Re: Critical Source of Baseball Info

man o man, im constantly looking at sports sites/newspapers/magazines

Redszone has become my favorite for reds related in the short time I've been on here. baseball-reference is good for older stuff. MLB.com and yahoo's sports pages keep me up to date as well on newer stuff, but I love reading the boxes in the morning paper every day.

I'm a subscriber, and I love BP. But it's a different type of site. It isn't a source of breaking news or headlines and it isn't a comprehensive resource. It enhances and deepens my understanding of the game, but it's not a one-stop shop for following the game.

ESPN.com would be my choice if I was only allowed the one source.

Re: Critical Source of Baseball Info

I remember way back years ago I used to listen to The Hot Stove League for baseball information. It's a differrent world now, I guess.
