Who are we going to blame today?

Encarnacion played, Aurilia didn't, Clayton and Hatteberg homered ... obviously Aurilia needs to be in there every day. Narron is such an idiot!

Of course, any statement like that is ridiculous. Just as all the crap yesterday was ridiculous in the wake of Clayton's bad game. The team is struggling collectively right now, but getting away with it. The good news is Junior homered, so maybe he's coming out of his slump, Phillips is back on track and Ross is in the lineup again. Now they need a well pitched game to settle them down and get them back on track.

Baserunners before the bombs. That's what we need.

It has been little noticed, but Griffey has a six game hitting streak. During that streak he's goine 7/24 batting .292. He's had three homers, 6 RBI's, walked 3 times, scored 4 runs and has 4 K's. Unfortunately, we've gone 2-4 during that time period.

It would seem that we're not clicking on all cylinders right now. Guess that's an understatement.

Brad Penny and Takashi Saito should be the answer. And Elmer Dessens to a much lesser extent. Kenny Lofton, too. Frickin crafty veterans!
