Lady in the Water

Did anyone else see this? I enjoyed it, but apparently the critics didn't. Only a 22% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Like all of Shyamalan's films, it was very well directed and acted. It was also surprisingly funny. I don't think it was his best film, but it was certainly better than The Village.

I thought I would like every M. Night movie...until I saw The Village. That flick was putrid.

Re: Lady in the Water

i don't like these types of movies, but the in-laws didn't give a choice on the movie we wanted to see (i guess we had to give in--they usually don't even talk to us). i thought it was pretty boring, but i laughed loud on the little kid's scene.
i lobbied hard for ricky bobby
i know i didn't give it much of a chance, but i really didn't like it at all :thumbdown

I usually love his movies, this one however was different, I hated it so much I have since erased it from memory completely...well, starting now anyways.

That was pretty bad.

I have yet to see this one. I have, however LOVED: Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and Signs.

I'm a huge M. Night fan. Loved The Village...LOVED it! Been looking forward to Lady In The Water.

Maybe I should start a poll...your favorite M. Night movie...I like 'em all (Unbreakable, The Sixth Sense, Signs) watch for it.

Me too.

Unbreakable was my favorite.

Mine was Signs. Haven't heard a good rewiew of the new one yet. Didn't care for The Village at all.

Signs is my favorite, I thought it was amazing, followed closely by Sixth Sense. Thought Unbreakable was pretty good and the Village was just ok.
