We Are All Edskin Today!

LOL .... 62 exclaimed that after I said that I was Edskin today.

Cracked me up.

Anyway, is everyone having a strange everything revolves around this game today day?

I swear, I'm planning my work around it. It's all I've thought about since I got up.

It's a fever!

I should have called in sick.

The angel on my left shoulder and the devil on my right are bickering madly.

Edskin is a prophet.

He's been wandering in the Oklahoma desert for years, chanting his mantra and honing his vision.

His time has finally come.

Today is your day, Ed.

My first thought after waking up was "friggin construction..."

Of course having major road widening tends to have that effect of you when its 6:30 in the morning.

Go Reds!

By the time Arroyo gets done today, all the Reds will be wearing gold plated diapers, baby!

I'm telling you guys, you're going to want that cowbell.

Re: We Are All Edskin Today!

Folks, I need this thing to happen more than I ever have.

I knew it when I was down there monday night, and I actually got really angry.

That was the first time that I've been really angry about the outcome of one game in two years.

It must mean something.

I'm also considering growing a playoff beard like the Hockey players....Probably a little early for that, eh?

Re: We Are All Edskin Today!

I, too am working around the ballgame this afternoon. I'm working like a mad man right now to get everything done that way once 12:35 comes around, all I have to worry about is phone calls and incoming customers (can't do anything about them).

This is fun stuff!

The last time I was this excited about a game was...well, Monday. They had better win. We are all going to suffer heart attacks if they don't.

Re: We Are All Edskin Today!

During the biggest Reds/August baseball game in 6 years, I'll be sitting in a meeting room going through an "Emotional Intelligence" class.

I'll be checking the scores on my BBerry....so I may either be classified as

Optimal in life satisfactions, calm demeanor, almost overly happy.

OR

Near psychotic, manic-depressive mumbler.

We'll see. Pray for me.

Re: We Are All Edskin Today!

I got burned at work today. A 12:00-1:00 conference call followed by a 1:00-4:00 meeting that I cannot get out of. In some ways, it's a blessing because I'm Tivo'ing the game on ESPN HD. Being in a conference room with no internet access, I'll be able to easily avoid the score until I get home around 4:30 and cue up the Tivo. Of course, my mind will be all over the place during my meeting.

I've had to tone it down since I got that letter from the Canada anti-defamation groupe.
