That lineup sucks. Everytime I like a lineup the Reds end up getting 1 or 2 runs from it. I like this lineup, therefore we are doomed to 1 or 2 runs hence that lineup sucks.

Actually, the lineup would be better with Dunn in the 2 hole, so maybe there's hope for us!

Reds win if Arroyo goes deep.

Re: 8/10/06 - Reds vs. Cardinals Game Thread

The real key to winning this game is to limit the Cardinals runs and to run up the runs the Reds scores...

Its a very fluid strategy... :

I expected some rests for a day game at the end of a four-game series. Doesn't look like either team is giving in at all.

Having So Taguchi and Aaron Miles at 6 and 7 is kind of like facing a Sunday Special lineup.

Totally! I'd have Clayton in, Hollandworth in left, batboy in center and the beer man recieving Arroyo!

FIRE NARRON!

Yes, Bob Boone is no longer with us. These guys actually are serious about winning.

Shouldn't that be Freel/Farney in the RF?

This might be the best possible lineup the Reds can put on the field right now.

Aside from the huge blob of rain heading for us, we're ready to rock n roll!

Re: 8/10/06 - Reds vs. Cardinals Game Thread

So I wonder what the decision making process is when Jerry Narron decides to bat Royce Clayton #7 when he's in the lineup but Juan Castro #8?

I do like the lineup though. EE is starting to get Narron props.

Don't forget Bennett too. If Arroyo can keep Eckstein and Duncan off base in front of Pujols and Edmonds we should be in business today.

If Arroyo gives up any homers early, which he has enjoyed doing as of late, we cannot all freak out. Faith in Cornrows, people.
