DCS and Redzoners don't mix....

If you stumble upon a Redzoner in Las Vegas it might be wise to bet the opposite of whatever they do. The four Division Series are over and the folks here didn't fare so well. At least according to the Forum Polls that were posted last week. We here at Redzone collectively did not pick a single series winner. The results are as follow (number of picks in parentheses):

Redzone pick:Minnesota (26) Series winner:Oakland (13) 33.3%
Redzone pick:New York (20) Series winner: Detroit (13) 39.3%
Redzone pick:Los Angeles (19) Series winner:New York (11) 36.7%
Redzone pick:San Diego(30) Series winner:St. Louis (3) 9.1%

Total:40 correct picks out of 135. 29.6%

I successfully picked every series wrong in the first round. Detroit and St. Louis should be happy to find out I am picking Oakland and New York in this round.

On another board, I had the Mets over the Dodgers. That's it. That's all I got right. A stinking 25 percent.
I had the Mets picked to go to the series - I could still get that right. But I had them being getting beat by the Twins.
Yeah. So much for that.

I got Detroit right. That is 25% when the board got a collective 29.6%. I still have a lot to learn from you folks I guess.

Or maybe I just suck.

The A's, that's all I got.
At least they were the underdog.

Damn Yankees.

Re: DCS and Redzoners don't mix....

Pete, when on the David Letterman show, said he didn't bet on baseball anymore because, "he knows too much; it wouldn't be fair."

Later, Dave asked him which teams he liked for the post season. Pete said Minnesota and San Diego.

Maybe Pete's a Zoner?
