FF trade question.
A guy in my league offered me Tony Gonzalez in exchange for Willis McGahee. No thanks (good call right? I've got Dallas Clark as my only TE)
But it got me thinking, looking at the rest of his roster and seeing if there was something I could nab in exchange for one of my running backs. I've got: McGahee R Brown C Taylor J Lewis W Lundy M Jones-Drew At WR/TE: A Boldin P Burress M Furrey C Henry T Taylor He's got S Smith, L Coles, A Byrant & R Smith at WR (plus Shockey and Gonzalez at TE) and B Jacobs, Mike Bell and Cadillace at RB. McGahee's got a slew of easy games coming up, so I don't want to give him up. I would part w/ Brown, but he'd have to give me one of his big 2 receivers. I'd easily give up Jamal Lewis, would A Bryant be a good return? Could I do a 2-1? Any ideas on what a good exchange to offer back is? Thanks for any help. |

No way I give up a quality stud RB like McGahee for a TE. Especially one that isn't named Gates. Clark is a decent TE and I don't view Shockey or Gonzalez as too much of an upgrade over him. If he wants McGahee that bad, offer him for Gonzalez and Caddy. Personally, I'd rather have McGahee than Ronnie Brown.
You could probably even throw in Jamal Lewis, he is next to worthless in fantasy football. |
