I'm a non-smoker, but I'm against smoking bans.
I wouldn't have a problem if some of these bans had a provision that allowed bar owners to purchase a license to allow tobacco to be consumed at their establishment. Unfortunately, most of these bans are strict and don't allow smoking at all, even though *smoking is still a legal activity*. Treat it like alcohol -- restrict the public places where it can be used, but grant business owners the option to allow it in private establishments.
