Jose Valentin at 2B?

what do people think of Jav'y brother Jose at 2b in 2007 ( with Phillips at SS )?

1. i have no idea what kind of deal he wants

2. i belive his defensive problems in the past involved throws and he did fine for the Mets at 2b

3. he does have power, a commodity needed at GABP

4. he is flexible ( can play OF )

5. hits righties well, lefties not so well ( Freel or Harris at 2b vs lefties ??? )

Re: Jose Valentin at 2B?

Compare him to RA -

Jose is older
Jose is more expensive.
Jose's range makes RA look like Ozzie Smith.
Jose has a really bad 'stache.
Jose was hidden in a pretty balanced Mets offense.

I'll pass Bob, and give me the next showcase.
