Casino Royale without a doubt

Re: Best Movies You've Seen In The Past Year
Best two movies I saw this past year were The Prestige and Blood Diamond.
I can't explain really why I liked The Prestige, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was never a big DiCaprio fan early in his career, but I thought he did a decent job in Blood Diamond. Also, I thought Djimon Hounsou did a pretty good job too in a supporting role in Blood Diamond, just as I also liked him in Gladiator.

Re: Best Movies You've Seen In The Past Year
Loved Stranger than Fiction. My girlfriend hated it... But then again, she also hated Shaun of the Dead, so take it for what its worth. I also loved The Illusionist. It was one of those that seemed to sneak by without much notice, but it was really good. I actually thought I was renting The Prestige. One of the best mistakes I have ever made. (For what its worth, my girlfriend liked this one.

I mentioned one in the worst thread.
The Departed and Pan's Labyrinth were both really good. |

I liked Crash as well...and Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang (although that might not have come out in 2006)

Re: Best Movies You've Seen In The Past Year
My favorite movie of the year was The Departed.
Other movies I liked included Little Miss Sunshine, Borat, Clerks 2, We Are Marshall, The Prestige, The Good Shepard and a movie that was hard to watch because of the subject matter but was a great movie was United 93. |

Re: Best Movies You've Seen In The Past Year
Best Movie by far: The Departed.. (great soundtrack, acting, and story...
2nd Place: Blood Diamond (didn't buy Leo's accent much..however Hounsou was great as usual, plus who doesnt like a movie with Jenifer Connolley? 3rd Place: The Illusionist (rented it and loved it... nothing like good ole magic) 4th Place Ties Between: borat, stranger than fiction and little miss sunshine The last ten minutes of lil miss sunshine is probably the funniest thing Ive seen in a comedy in a long time. |

Re: Best Movies You've Seen In The Past Year
The only two I can remember seeing in the past year were The Departed and Borat. I enjoyed both films.
edit: This may have been the most pathetic and boring post I've ever made on a message board. Please accept my apology. It's been a long day, and I guess I felt the need to type something.
