How much do you miss baseball?

Enough to get excited over these?

I am rather looking forward to spring training myself.

Re: How much do you miss baseball?

I think this old quote sums up how much I miss baseball.

"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." -

It is times like these - those dark days between the Super Bowl and the beginning of spring training - that are toughest.
Usually, I just take a couple of boxes of baseball cards, spread them all over the floor, then roll around them naked.

You can thank me later for the mental image.

Re: How much do you miss baseball?

Actually, I'm not missing it as much as some years. My oldest daughter found out that at her age, there will be tryouts to assign kids to levels in her little league (she has graduated from t-ball). She's had me out in the yard tossing/fielding balls almost nightly since before Christmas...and i don't mean just weather permitting either. Fortunately she doesn't mind working off of the tee in the garage. Then I warm the cockles by coming inside and hitting the redzone with some steaming coco and marshmellows in tow.....
