I think I just accidentally applied for a home mortgage and should also be expecting a subscription to Ebony....

Congratulations, Blimpie!
Your IQ score is 135

This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others.

Your Intellectual Type is Precision Processor. This means you're exceptionally good at discovering quick solutions to problems, especially ones that involve math or logic. You're also resourceful and able to think on your feet. And that's just some of what we know about you from your test results.

Re: Iq Test

Congratulations,
Your IQ score is 131

This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others.

Your Intellectual Type is Visionary Philosopher. This means you are highly intelligent and have a powerful mix of skills and insight that can be applied in a variety of different ways. Like Plato, your exceptional math and verbal skills make you very adept at explaining things to others — and at anticipating and predicting patterns. And that's just some of what we know about you from your IQ results.

Isn't it odd so many of our scores are so close?

funny. and correct.

If I understand IQ testing, only 2.2% of adults exceed a 130 IQ.

About 68.3% fall somewhere between 85 and 115.

Yeah, I think they must be skewed high because I tested above 135 when I was in 6th grade and I know for a fact I've become less intelligent every year since then.

That pretty much coincides with the chart I posted in responce #14.

Of course, assuming 1/2 of the 300,000,000 people in the USA are adults, the 2.2% still means 3,300,000 people are pretty darn smart.

I agree. I just think it's interesting, that everyone here who admitted tested as highly intelligent.

It's a pretty brilliant marketing tactic when you think about it. You give people a test, give everyone a very good score on the test, make them feel good about themselves, and create a positive association with all those stupid pop up ads that sprung up during the test.

Not to mention selling a "report" on the results. I think I've seen this episode of King of the Hill.

2. in the 150-160 range.

Up until now I thought it was bogus.

I'll have you know that I was the smartest kid in my class.

Of course I was an only child and home skooled.
