Oakland's Closer?

Who will it be?

Street is out indefinitely and Duscherer just went on the DL today.

Kiko Calero? Alan Embree?
Who is worth taking a gamble on?
I think I'm picking up Calero

May 22 Updating an earlier item, according to Mychael Urban, of Athletics.MLB.com, Oakland Athletics RP Justin Duchscherer (hip) could return to the lineup Tuesday, May 22, or Wednesday, May 23

Re: Oakland's Closer?

Ah, I didn't notice that, sorry.

Then I'd say Calero is the best bet. They've given him a crack or two in the role already this year, so he's probably the most logical choice, then again, I don't follow the A's and just looked up his stats, maybe not.

Re: Oakland's Closer?

I read that Alan Embree is going to get the saves from Rotoworld.

Re: Oakland's Closer?

Embree's had a couple chances to close already since Street has been out.
