It was one year, not even a year.

Well based on what we have been told, can't we logically deduce that he has been eliminated from the bullpen?

Rotation: (5)

1. Harang
2. Arroyo
3. Lohse
4. Milton
5. Saarloos/Belisle

Bullpen: (7)

1. Weathers
2. Stanton
3. Coffey
4. Cormier
5. Burton/Santos/Coutlangus
6. Burton/Santos/Coutlangus
7. Loser of Saarloos/Belisle rotation spot

Narron did say that 2 of Burton/Santos/Coutlangus would make the team, and that the loser of Belisle/Saarloos would occupy a bullpen slot.

As of now, I doubt Hermanson is going o make the team, let alone be the closer.

Re: 3/31/07 vs Marlins -- in Dayton!

i think we are looking at starting the season with milton on the dl and saarlos as the 5 man with belisle in the 4. who knows how long that is going to last though. I do not see any reason whatsoever for us to keep santos on the roster. given past performance (very milton like btw) he does not deserve to make an opening day roster ellipsis

I've been under the impression that as long as his back is healthy, he'll be the closer.

I guess we'll know more tomorrow (or later today)

I hope your right, he did sign a minor league contract so they should let him go down and see if he can build arm strength. Otherwise his career is done, he's throwing 85 tops.

Good to hear, still hitting the ball hard, i really think he will hit pretty well all year if given some decent playing time.

I can't believe that Wayne Krivsky believes that what he accomplished in the offseason actually improves the team. This is just a plum awful team. What the hell did he do all offseason?

How did the top half of that inning end?

Ya, but that's based on the likes of guys like Fay, Brenamen.

Have we actually heard Krivsky/Narron say anything about Hermanson being the closer?

I haven't heard KrivDogg say much of anything this spring...and Narron is his typical, close-to-the-vest self.
